Yes, caffeine is one of thhe most addictive substances and the typical symptom when you cut it off is headache. If you want to stop, go gradually. Think three weeks, decreasing a half a cup every few days. Then, you'll be fine. And avoid other sources of caffeine like tea or soda.

Caffeine addiction is just as serious as any other. I have the same problem. I usually have 2 coffees and a Pepsi before lunch. If I don't, I too get the raging headache. You can try to wean yourself from the caffeine, or simply live with your addiction. I wouldn't suggest going cold turkey, it hurts too much!!

Yes.
There could be other reasons for your headaches, but I'm leaning toward a caffeine addiction.
How do I know?
I'm a total bear without my coffee & cigarettes. There IS NO one or the other...gotta have both. If I don't, I'm an emotional wreck by 2:00. Strange, I know, but that's the way it is for me (though mostly when my hormones are raging). Also, I had NASTY headaches when I was pregnant - caffeine withdrawal - which is why I COULDN'T lay off it.

I don't know if you are addicted or just accustomed to the habit of your morning caffeine rush. My friend who owns a coffee shop has told me that when you drink coffee regularly and then stop it will cause headaches in a lot of people.

That means you just get off your schedule. But after about 2 days and your schedule keeps changing your addiction should break if not keep drinking that AM coffee.

Yup. Me too but the caffine of choice for me is Mountain Dew. If I don't have some caffine in the AM I get a massive headache by noon-2pm. One of the effects of caffiene is that it is a vasodilator so it is possible that decreased levels in long term users could include vasospasm which if they occur in the cerebral circulation could cause massive headache... just a thought

More likely you are addicted to the caffeine. I am the same way with pop (soda). I am currently going through withdrawls so don't mess with me.
