Donkey Kong- that game spawned Mario (the hero) around 1980.
outdates mario by a few years, but was released on the huge arcade consoles.

Besides the card game? Nintendo was orginally a tradeing card-making company. But its first video game was "The amazing Jumping man" for the arcade. It was the one with Mario, Daisy and DK. DK through barrells down ramps and Mario dodged them.

super mario bros. and duck hunt with the gun, the first gunz were light gray on dark grey, and the latter ones were orange on top of the light gray
