The same reason some straight relationships last longer than some gay relationships. Some people were meant to be together, sexual orientation has no bearing on a persons level of commitment to a person. Or there ability to stay commited and be monogamous.

It's all in the people involved. There is variance among the straight community just as much as the gay community. Really, at least for gay guys, long lasting relationships are hard to come by. I find that in general guys are very afraid of commitment, especially when it comes to love and relationships. Some aren't. Again, as many people have said, it's all about finding the right person and how well you work things out. We've all got our difficulties.

For the same reason that some straight relationships last longer than those of same gender relations. A relationship that lasts longer than others has nothing to do with gender but more to do with forethought.

We are more commited to eachother, because of the stigma we face daily from Straight Community. So inorder to be "out" we need to be strong and if we are commited to eachother and "out" the pressures that will often make straight couples break up we face daily.
But really it depends on the people. Straight couples can last years as well. It all depends on your resolve to stay together thru thick and thin, and work it out.

Some relationships last longer then others because they are based in trust, open communication, committment, respect, and the ability to compromise. It has nothing to with sexual orientation, but with the people involved.

You use "some"....
Gay relationships and straight relationships preety much have the sme problems...its just the matter of working them out...I assume its easier when you're gay becaue mem know what men like and women know what women like...so issues can easily be resolved...

Because just like a man knows what a man wants a woman knows what a woman wants and that's how they last longer.
You know what you want you know where you like to be touched you know your own emotions so it's easier to relate to the same sex than some one of the opposite.
