www.bestbookdeal.com is the best place to look because it compiles searches from all the major textbook sellers, lists the price and the condition. I use it every semester.

It in itself is not a book seller but it leads you to seller's websites such as Amazon (and Amazon Marketplace), Half.com, TextbookX, and more.

I have used half.com (which is part of ebay) and amazon.com. Textbooks are way overpriced! Check these websites and it's easiest if you have the ISBN numbers from the back of the book.

Amazon.com tends to have cheap books, and I almost always buy used books there. Now and then Barnes and Noble (www.bn.com), Alibris.com, and half.com have cheaper books, but if you go for used, Amazon.com normally has the best prices (at least for what I buy).
