Agreed! But I'm not sure what came first......people's tastes changing and wanting junk to listen to, or the music changing and brain washing people to like junk. I usually don't even turn on the radio in the car anymore because everytime I do I'm a little bit more shocked at what people are calling music these days. No I'm not old.........I'm only 25. : )

95% of the stuff I hear people listening to I think is crap. There is still good music being made, it's just harder to find. With PC's, iPods and instant downloading of just about anything you want, when you want it, there are TOO many choices and not all of it good. I stick to 80's , metal and power pop because that's what I grew up with and that's what I like. Life's too short to listen to bad music...

yes they have forgotten good music because people pay for crap, they will continue to produce crap. today's modern musician MIGHT know 3 chords on guitar. hell i know more than that ! No one seems to come up with any innovative like all the greats - Beatles, Boston, . I'm sure there might be somthing new that is worthwhile out there but i haven't found it yet.

I think there is a lot more good music today than there was in the past. You have to be selective and try to listen for good things when they come along.

I don't say all modern music is crap.. there are some good ones too.. but most of today's music is noisy. maybe the new generation like it that way..

I completely agree!! There are a few decent bands and singers today, but the great ones are behind us.
