Hosea 6:3 (English Standard Version)

Let us know; let us press on to know the LORD;
his going out is sure as the dawn;
he will come to us as the showers,
as the spring rains that water the earth."

Finish college. I had the opportunity to go to college and have it paid by my parents when I was younger. I started then quit. I am still trying to finish my degree and have about 1-1/2 years left, it is expensive and trying to go while you work is much harder. Granted I haven't concentrated on completing my degree as I should cuz I am now 47. I am going back this fall, approved FAFSA which will help. I also believe that if I had finished college I would not now be living at a level where I qualify for FAFSA. (Think about that for yourself, go see what the qualifier for FAFSA is if you are single and have no kids and you will know how much I make, approximately). I am fortunate that I do not have children cuz life would have been much harder if I had had a family to raise. Once you see the FAFSA qualifier, think about whether you would want to raise a family on that wage? There are consequences to everything you do, even quitting college at 18 as I did which at the time was nothing to me. If I lived somewhere else I would make a bit more money because I usually work in an office environment but where I live now office work is hard to come by and very competitive, living in a rural area does that. I love living here and the one thing I would change if I could is the availability of jobs and types of jobs. I am now 47 and it is very hard at this age to change to a job that is more physical than I am use to after 25 years of working in offices. Now I stand on my feet all day as a cashier and each day I do this my computer skills lessen and make it harder to get that office job.

So, go to school and complete your degree. Think about what your actions today will have on your life tomorrow or 20 years from now.

The Holy Bible contains the spiritual wisdom of God, many people in the 21st century seem to have forgotten this.

It doesn't matter if you FEEL its inaccurate or outdated its still a book of great wisdom.

Better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're stupid than to open it up and remove all doubt.

Wish I had said something like that.
