At least blame him for the welfare class. After all, he's the one who started that train wreck with no brakes.

What Jason B said, exactly.
And BTW, "Communist" didn't become a "dirty word" until after WW2. Before that time belonging to the Communist or Socialist Party was no more remarkable than being a Green or Libertarian today.

Why blame the left on anyone? You should be thanking your lucky stars that we have liberals around to stand up for what's right- especially since so much is wrong these days.
You'll be eating crow when Hillary is elected President in 2008, and then reelected in 2012.

Yes, he's reponsible for dangerous things such as social security, the right to unionize, the GI Bill, and other integral parts of America.
Here's a story anybody who whines and complains about the "socialist" liberal agenda in America:
There was a guy born in the late 1920s. His father lost his job in the Depression only to be saved by a spot in the WPA. The man went to fight for our country in WWII and then went to college on the GI Bill when he got back home. His kidss went to public school and were able to go to college because of loan programs funded by the government. As he got older, the man and his wife were able to retire comfortably because of his social security check and medicare. Then, in 1980, he voted for Reagan to get the government off his back.
Be careful what you wish for, it just may come true.

Come on... the left is not socialist, just as the right is not facist.
Americans are pretty middle of the road compared to the rest of the world. The USA right wing is not that nutty compared to some, and there are certainly liberal parties around the world that are to the left of the USA's democrats.

The mindless infant is back with more inane comments. Slamming FDR? You gotta be kidding. Get a tighter grip on that pacifier before you dribble out anymore mindless drivel.

Socialist Left? I know this much, without the progressive policies put forth in the 30s, my parents and their siblings and cousins would have starved to death before my birth and that of my siblings and cousins. Add to that our children and grandchildren and ask yourself, how many of those people in that group alone became "customers" of the companies that you receive earnings from, either directly or indirectly?
