It does not matter what you do everyone has to get up and go out to vote. Make more ads that will get people to go and vote.

The answer does not and would not come from a third party, but from good voters. I think votes should not reflect the will of the party but the will of the voter and of-course the candidate. Our best leaders in history are the men who answered the call of the people not those who sought riches or "power". Perhaps one solution would be to reduce the terms of the existing retirement /pension plan for our elected officials. the Second option is for the voters to know more and question the images given of the candidates, before they vote

First off - the answer to your question is people voting.
Before that can happen, people's interest. Some people follow politics, others skim it and a huge chunk don't care enough to know. Which is why very few will click on your link.
Scary too that there are voters who vote and don't know why or who they voted for.
Voting should be encouraged, voting should be taught to children and voting will make a difference in who gets elected.
Gotta start somewhere, start with the voice of the people - VOTE and know who you voted for.

We must care enough to ASK QUESTIONS OF ANYONE RUNNING FOR ANY OFFICE . The last 8 years should have taught us that believing every word that comes out of a candidates
mouth is what he or she thinks we want to hear and will vote for them .
We must listen and question them , make them answer our questions .Not sidestep and beat around the bush but give a direct answer .
You can't trust the papers or the TV News . CHECK THINGS OUT FOR YOURSELVES . Be suspicious of what they say . doubt every thing . If it sounds to good , it won't be .
We in this country want every thing easy and don't want the work it takes to pick someone great that's running for office .. If we don't do the work we will lose our freedoms . Say, is that happening now ???

It would help a lot if citizens were better educated about history, and it would also help if there were some kind of monetary incentive to vote.
A third party would be nice, someday, but until the necons are ousted there is no chance.

The only way to elect better people is to appeal to the masses. The masses are pretty stupid or rather indifferent. Unfortunately, they are the kind of people that think Chevy is better than Ford or vice versa. Obviously, the real question is whether Honda is better than Toyota.

Quit dragging their families and past "minor" indiscretions through the mud during campaigns and quit treating them like dirt once they get in office. However, that doesn't fix the problem of the corrupting influence of power after they have been in office for awhile.
