I'd have to say that giant bounce ball with a handle that you sat on and bounced thru the house on driving mom nuts with. The last time I saw one of those was in Don't Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead.

There are some grown ups who make a living do that, playing with toys, testing them, creating them. I think that is an awesome job, so laid back and comfortable.
If I was one of them I think that Legos, Play-doh, Slinkys, and race cars would be my choices. They are univerisally conventional as toys for both the sexes, and so free to explore possbilities of gameplay.

If I could choose any toy, it would be Legos. However, I would not want to play with Legos as they are now. With all the themed sets and specialty pieces with images printed on them, the flexibility we used to have is gone. You pretty much have to build what is pictured on the box. My favorite current toy is the Dance Dance Revolution pad for the different gaming systems. It's got music, it's fun, you get exercise... and that's on top of seeing your friends make fools of themselves. Yeah... I do play with it, though I don't own one myself.

There are lots of toys i would love to play with again, and some of them that i didn't use to play when i was a kid.

First, i would love to play with a Barbie again, you know, find new outfit, make combinations, try some clothes, i wouldn't use myself. Make her hair in diferent ways.

Second, i would like to make puzzles, actually, sometimes, i get a puzzle, and do it, i even invite my son and spend sometime playing with him.

Finally, i like many board games, and i still play with those sometimes, as i have an 11 y/o boy, and try to spend time with him, that sort of things we share.

I would enjoy paints, crayons, clay, anything with color and medium that I could manipulate. Often the results are surprising and entertaining. Self expression is such a great thing. Oh, did I mention colored pudding on freezer paper? Way cool and tasty too! Of course, you can scan, print, copy, transfer onto clothing, art work made by your child to show him/her and the world, how important their expression is to you.

Silly Putty. Stretches like taffy and bounces like rubber. Comes in a little plastic egg, and manufactured at the Silly Putty factory in Bethlehem, Pa.

Well I still play with legos, and trucks and cars with my son, but if I had all my old My little ponys I would be in pony heaven, I would take them out everyday and brush their hair, oh I miss them so much. I liked Barbie too.
