Most pool chemicals will gradually reduce in stability and effectiveness when subjected to heat. If you have a shady spot near the pool where the tub can stay, that would help. If you live in an area where daytime summer temperatures average 80 or higher, indoor storage is about the only option.

No it is not safe to store pool chemicals on your deck due to heat and the sun most chemicals are very explosive and very harmful. You should keep them in a cool secure place away from children and animals. So yes your garage would be a better place to keep them.

I wouldn't. I the containers leak, they will rot your deck in no time flat. Plus the sun could cause the chemicals to expand and explode I think. Not sure about the second part there but I wouldn't chance it. Store them in a cool covered place.

heat wont bother them, but no water can get in them. humidity will make the chemicals go bad to, especially the soda ash and chlorine

if the container is airtight, you won't have to worry about the humidity; however, the heat of the sun may make the chemicals cake, so you may want to cover them

Why don't you check for a number on the bottle and call the manufacturer to see what they recommend for storage? :o)
