This stat is not recorded, so unless someone has seen the longest pass and can in some way can prove that no one has thrown one longer, there is not a correct answer. The longest pass ever INCLUDING the run is 99 yds, 3 ft. 7 inches. which has been done 8 times, most recently in 1995 when Brett Favre connected with Robert Brooks.

A pass completion of 99 yards has been achieved on 10 occasions in the NFL and has always resulted in a touchdown. The most recent was a pass from Jeff Garcia to André Davis of the Cleveland Browns, playing against the Cincinnati Bengals, on Oct. 17, 2004.

It would be nice to see stats on passes from the point where the ball was thrown to the point where it entered the receiver's hands. When you tack on the run after, all you have to look at is any successful passing play that came from inside the 1 yard line and resulted in a touchdown.

catch and run? YAC should not count on this question. I saw Kyle Boller throw a ball 70 yards in practice from one knee, I was impressed.
