She checked you to see if your water had broke, thats hormal. the bleeding, and the pain that your having, are normal, she may have started the process for you. Your mucus plug, will be like a big eye crusty, thats still really wet. trust me, you will know when you pass it. thats also one more way to tell your getting close. usualy it can be from a day or so to two weeks after you lose your plug. good luck and congradulations.

Could be although u haven't said how many weeks you are-- My guess is that you are nearing the end of the pregnancy
The bleed you describe could well be the 'show' or plug as u describe it. If it is twinges i would say you are nearing the time when labour begins-- although if it's your first baby it could bea anything from 2 days to 2 weeks(dependant on gestaion of course) before full labour begins

Call your midwife. It sounds like your mucus plug. You will probably go into labor within the next 24 hours. Good luck!

sounds like the baby is almost here! If you are really worried contact your midwife. When your waters go you will know about it!

call a doctor now if you feel you are bleeding internally.
Or call the midwife and ask if it would be wise for you to call a doctor. *You may have to usurp her advice if you sense you need a doctor. Remember, she works for YOU.

bleeding is so bad during pregnacy, better go to the hospital, there is nothing to loose if you go to see the doctor.
