If you look closely Allah, Jehovah, and God are the same. The Jews, Christians, and Muslims all come from Abraham, who was a Sumerian.

The religion that bound Europe together, especially Northern Europe, led to the spread of culture to other parts of the world. Not always good but it did.

If China could have controlled their population, thanks Mao, then the heavy Budda population would be less.

I challenge your data. Only about 19% of the world's population is Muslim and only about 6% are Buddhists. There are more Christians in the world (about half of whom ar Catholic) than any other single religion.

As for why they think they are right -- it is because they choose to believe their parents about God, despite the fact that their parents lied to them about Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and how they were virgins when they got married.

That is a loaded question, isn't it. Because you have to add BOTH of those very different religions together to beat the number of Christians. So first off your question is flawed.

It is a basic tenent of the religion that ONLY Christ is the way etc etc. That is why i cannot accept that religion. If you do NOT believe that story, then you are not true Christian. It like asking why do Black muslims think Christ was Black? If you do not buy the premise, you cannot join. Same with Christians. You gotta believe certain things and that is one of the most important ones. CHRIST is the only way to heaven.

I don't think Christians (as a whole) believe they are any more right than other religions. I have studied theology and we were encouraged to learn about other religions and then make our choice."Blessed are those who believe and have not seen"

Because Christians have an absolutist religion; they believe that their religion is the one and only true church for no other reason than the Bible says so.

It's kind of the what is popular is not always right and what is right is not always popular. I think Christians think they are "right" for the same reasons other religions think they're "right."

Popularity has NOTHING to do with being correct!
