My topic is Foreign cars. I need some kind of thesis statement that I can argue about. It needs to be specific and not broad. (This is a pursuasive essay) Help!!

When shopping for new and or used cars, foreign cars are superior because of their mileage, build .. etc.etc.

Has to be foreign cars? First, are you American? If so, I think this is an interesting and valid topic...

You could follow that topic and have a thesis like "The Toyota whatever built in America has better quality than the Toyota whatever built overseas."
That would be pretty specific, but broad enough to find plenty of research data stats.

An argument for it:
Foreign cars, in my opinion, are better because of the way they are made (or whatever you want)
An argument against it:
I don't think foreign made cars are especially good for the American economy. It takes jobs away from our work force and sends it over seas.
