I'm not sure I can tell you how to do it FAST. But if you have a little time and just want to become more confident in general over time, I can share my experience because I used to be much less confident (and more nervous) than I am now. The key is to do something that scares you from time to time. It doesn't have to be something huge, like skydiving or something, but just something that makes you a little uncomfortable. (For example, if you would never consider going to dinner or a movie without another person with you,do it by yourself a time or two.) If you do little things like that to start with, little by little you'll realize that nothing bad happens and you'll be able to work your way up to doing other things that scare you. Eventually, you'll be a much braver, more confident person, willing to take more risks. (I am !)

You can start with some beatitudes. Saying positive things about yourself while looking into the mirror. But too, you need to BELIEVE them. There aren't many people that walk this great earth that aren't wonderful people.

You can do great things when you put your mind to them.
You are the son/daughter of a wonderful mother, and she would not have trash as family.

You have many abilities that help you do (insert whatever).

I try to mentally prepare myself by running through what I will be doing like saying the speech and visualizing it. I also look over the heads of the people that I am speaking to so that I won't get distracted. Finally, I also remind myself that I am a person and who really cares if I make a mistake or say something stupid. I like who I am and so do other people!

Stay away from all chemical stimulants.
Get plenty of rest and sleep.
Eat a very health diet rich in earthly nutrients.
Face your fear the earliest you can.
Nerviousness is a good thing that can keep you out of bad situations.
