I had Carolina last year and they did really good for me. Any teams that control time of possesion are good. But depending on what your league fees are I would pick up a new one each week depending on who the team is playing

After the Bears ... the Panthers always look solid with their defense; the Ravens are looking to reestablish themselves as a defensive powerhouse and are poised to do just that; Dungy has revamped the Colt defense and should also be considered highly; Tampa Bay still carries itself well defensively as shown last year; and Pittsburgh has a nasty looking defense with Troy still hanging around in the secondary like a hawk

AFC North is looking pretty tough this year. Ravens, Steelers, and even the Browns are looking pretty good this year. Also, Panthers, Cowboys, and Pats should be solid as well. Do not pick one early as you can usually get a really good defense late in the game. It is rare when the best defense from the year before is as good the following the year.
The Browns seem to be the consensus "sleeper" pick this year which means someone will take them too early.

Depends on your scoring system...
If no penalties for points scored against, then pick a def with a really crappy offence... lots more time on the field to score
