A friend of mine had such a quick labour that she ended up having her baby in her bathroom, delivered by her very shocked husband!

Yep. Frimley Park Hosptial. Twice. Same midwife both times. That was pretty strange, especially as there were only 11 months between deliveries! Poor woman thought it was the longest shift she'd ever done ha ha

I had my first in a hospital..but not in a labor/delivery room. I had him in the ER triage room of the hospital. There wasn't any room on L/D so they figured I was young(18), it was my first, I'd be a while. NOPE...4 hours after I got to the hospital I delivered. There were people walking by my bed the whole time I delivered. (IT was set up like a barracks...with beds lining both walls.) If I hadn't been in pain...I would have been mortified as hell!! Now that I look back...its funny...and it makes a great story to tell my son.

my auntie gave birth at her nieces wedding. it was funny because my cousin wanted her wedding recorded and when it come to the vows bit and they say if there is anyone who knows of any lawful reason why these people shouldn't be married in holy matrimony speak now or forever hold your peace my auntie shouted out I AM F**KING IN LABOUR. so in the end it turned out to be a wedding and a birth and they were both filmed. my cousin still carried on with the wedding though.

Unfortunately for me mine was both times in the local hospital because twice i had to be induced as they were just too comfortable in there and didn't want to put ina an appearance.. Although with my second i had him on Fathers day so it was really special
