Each has a word in it that starts with B or C (which is a period of time (B.C.)
(although if that's not the answer, which it probably isn't, then I don't think there is an answer, there is no similarities in "blue" and "circle" that i know of

Blue is the screen you don't want to see on the computer (blue screen of death) and no one wants to see GB, who doesn't like circles that are the shape of carrots.
