it depends on situation, environment and many other things
its not that co-ed are bad.
by studying in a co-ed primary school one gain confidence more over you gain feeling that you can stand by with each other wheather it is a boy or a girl.
i am not saying that by studying in a all girls school you will not gain the confidence but BUT by studying in a co-ed school you will make your niece to stand in any situation.
by studying in co-ed she learns more human behaviour of men.
i will say that you must definitely send you niece to a co-ed primary school.

I think by far it is better to send children to co-ed schools, this way the child expands on the growth of their social skills which is just as important as their physical, mental,and emotional development.

Co-ed. It will let your child experience more of the real word then just his/her own sex.
