It occurs when pressure is put on the bladder. The pressure can be from lifting something too heavy, repeatedly standing for too long, coughing, sneezing and laughing. And if you're a woman, pregnancy and childbirth can cause it.

When you're under stress, you lose control of your bladder & pee on yourself. It doesn't have to be a lot; it can be just a little dribbling.
