PlayStation 3 cause Xbox 360 is having cliches right now. They were trying to bet PlayStation 3 out and look what has happened. There were a lot of them recalled. That's why I think PlayStation 3 is better.

That depends on what you're looking for out of the system. The truth is that there's very little difference between the systems in terms of raw power, which the PS3 is touting as a key differentiator. One of the big issues now is that it takes twice as long for developers to develop games for the PS3, so the game roster is definitely stronger for the 360 as it has been out for some time and is easier to develop for. The PS3 is the only system that presently has plans to output to an HDMI cable, so it can technically put out a better picture - largely for DVD purposes. So - if you're buying the system with an emphasis on its' High Def DVD capabilities, then Sony might be your choice. What Sony lacks, however, is convergence. MSoft was smart and has an advantage in my mind. The 360 can tie into your home PC and can stream audio, video, and has other multimedia features. It's the first true step in true convergence of PC to home-theater. So, in my mind, the 360 wins out with better games and the media capabilities that the Sony doesn't have.

The 360 is the console that i have and i wouldn't trade it 4 any Sony products. The only problems that the 360 has encountered were b/c stupid ppl did stupid things with it. There was one problem which can be fixed by buying a fan unit for the 360 b/c it overheats if left on all the time. Sony is going to lose the market this time b/c the PS3 cost way to much for them to make. Sony is going to lose $200 on every PS3 they sell. What's better than Halo???

Many questions like this already and I keep sayin the Xbox 360 because it is out now, great game selection, not that expensive and its more than a gaming machine, while the PS3 is very expensive and its Blu-Ray disc commitment well i wish Sony luck with that.....

Well, since Paystation 3 is just a concept at this point (and it looks like a great one!), and Xbox is available to purchase, I have to vote for Xbox.

"better" in games, X360. overall power, PS3. i think the X360 is better because there's more games and third party support, and the graphics look exactly the same as the PS3. you don't need a supercomputer for video games, just something that's fast.
