then i have to take out the video card to make my computer work.

you have to disable the other video card drivers first. than insert the CD and load the new drivers/ screen res is probably not correct. or there is a jumper that needs to be changed. good luck.

your refresh rate is probaly too low,or too high. try booting in safe mode, set it to 60, and then work your way up after you reboot. If theat doesn't fix it, could be drivers, or incompatibility with the rest of your system

try to change with resolution settings, in desktop properties and card resollution

so can you logon to windows?
if yes right click on your desktop and go to properties > setting
change your resolousion to 1027*728

It might not be compatible with your mother board, or your processor may not be fast enough to run it. ect ect. Did you check system requirements?
