I used to be able to watch yahoo music videos,etc, but now all that shows up is and small red x on the top?

I can watch other online videos, but not ones that require your media settings

also go into your tools / internet options / advanced and make sure your multimedia options are turned on. then perhaps reinstall your media player.

Try re-installing your window's media player, usually means you have a corrupted file of some sort.
