Use a toner before application. It will remove excess oil and tighten pores.

I am extremely oily too. I tried any thing you could imagine. There are some brands like MAC Studio Fix and Chanel Double Perfection, both in powder, which do wonders in keeping the oilies at bay. However, if you wish to keep your makeup the same way you applied it in the morning, it is almost impossible. First and foremost, the products that have a heavier coverage cause more grease and second, they can potentially clog pores. My suggestion is that you use a thermal exfoliator like Olay on a daily basis and then try one of the above-mentioned brands. These are the two that despite their texture did not cause any acne on my face. Also, with MAC, try their blot powder. You could blot your face with this in mid day. Good Luck!

After you cleanse your face in the morning, use an oil control lotion. The best I found it Cosmedicine Medi Matte Oil Controlling Lotion - find it at Sephora.
Let it absorb for about 5 min.
Follow with a primer, like a Smashbox - they come in several colors, so they also correct skin imperfections already.
Then use oil-free, light foundation. Prescriptives makes a really great one, but a cheaper versions are available.
Set with fine powder. like Bare Essentuals Mineral Veil.
During the day do not reapply powder - use blotting papers to remove excess oil - it won't smudge your foundation and you won't cake.
Good luck - oily skin is a pain, I know.

Different skins different methods. The best thing to do is go and see what type of oil your skin produces then find a product to suit it. You'll save more money going to a beautician and finding out then trail and error with make up products.

If your constantly on the go, buy some Clean and Clear oil sheets. They absorb the oil on your face just buy gently pressing the sheet where your face is oily. Works for me. Hope this helps

Use an oil-free foundation and set with loose powder, and use blotting papers throughout the day. Don't go overboard with toners or mattifiers...a light one is OK but if you dry the skin out too much it will produce more oil and double your problem.

If you have oily eyelids, I highly recommend Urban Decay's Primer Potion. It's amazing stuff!
