bigger cities are probably not a good idea. people fight over a job opening. you prob need to relocate to somewhere small. that is not all about hustle and bustle. somewhere that you can smell the air and not smog. hear the birds and not horns and sirens.go fishing not spend 2hrs in traffic trying to get home.

Depends on which country you are from...
your work interests (silicon valley for compu-nerds vs DC for government)
your education...some areas a require higher level of education for the same job (eg Protestant Ministers in BC need a doctorate for anything above a small isolated village perish while in Ontario a 3 year college degree can get a large city church)
how much disposable income you want... Some areas have lots of jobs but the cost of living is not proportionate to the pay scale (IE high cost of living for the pay available... you might need to work 50 hrs in one area to maintain the same living standards that another area would only require working 35hrs to maintain)
Also don't forget your credentials may not be valid in another state/ province/ country... so if you are planning to move outside the area you got your education in then you may have to upgrade your Ed to be able to market it in your new area...

I suppose you could say an employment line, an employment recruiter, employment symposiums at colleges, on the internet, etc.
Of course these "areas" usually are large (lots of competition).
Oh - was it your intention to ask: In what cities are jobs plentiful?
That I cannot answer.
Did I win a prize?

I would recommend INformation Technology. Also, the Internet sector continues to grow. More advertising dollars are being spent online whihc makes companies more viable. I think that this is a good field to look into. It's also fun and fast paced.
