I have my desktop networked thru my laptop-so far so good. Well we bought a third laptop so we could have 1 that can move anywhere ,outside etc. The problem is I cant figure out how to get the router to work. The signal will not go out to the other 2 computers. tried following the instructions but right away theres trouble-we dont have a separate modem plug in the card is the modem. Is there a way to do this at all or am I out of luck? The 2 that are networked now are connected thru a cable not a router. Also since I got the new laptop I networked that 1 to the desktop since its alot faster then the old one.I did everything the same way but now everytime the laptop gets shut off my desktop gives me the limited or no connectivity error message everytime. And to top it off I am not always having to do the same thing to get it working. Any ideas out there? Im about ready to pull my hair out. I bought the router last year so they want to charge me 2.99 a minute for tecnical support. Thanks.

Ok well this is a good one for me because I like to be a problem solver. Here is your situation to me you can not get internet on anything but a 16-bit PCMCIA air card witch to you only fits in a laptop but what you don’t know is that they make adapters for Desktop Pc's. And you want to get a home network going so, you can either find a router that can support the card and then broadcast it to wireless signal again. You could always just build a server and the card adapter and then make it into a load balancer and then put some NIC cards in it and a WiFi card and turn it into your own home router with firewall. But that would involve some money and a lot of experience so I will give you a couple of easier solutions; look at another internet supplier such as Satellite or ADSL (you don’t have to have a home phone for some DSL lines). I have some more solutions for you all you have to do is contact me via e-mail and I can go in-depth with different options and companies to supply you with high-speed internet

Basically, you have the same set up that I do. Key 'EvDO coverage' in your favorite search engine for some answers on this. Since I live in a semi, I got an air card. With that, I have internet access on my laptop, but that's it. I have other wireless devices, but was out of luck. I got a wireless router, so I plugged the air card in the router and now I'm a WiFi hotspot! Now there's connectivity for everything in the neighborhood!

What about satellite internet access? I have a friend who can't get cable TV because she lives too far from a major city and therefore can't get cable internet access. She also can't get DSL for the same reason. She was using dialup but that's too slow. She got Hughes.net to get on the internet and seems to work great. The cost is twice as much as cable internet and is about twice as slow but works great as a faster option than dialup. It seems though you have two problems, 1. how to connect to the internet and 2. how to get your home network properly setup.

i did the equal factor that is what you do plug the ethernet twine into the again of the xbox then plug the opposite finish into the router or modem (the field through your laptop with flashing lighting ask ur dad and mom they're going to recognize what it's) OK then flip the router or modem off then again on then wait 30-forty five seconds ( until the entire lighting are on) then get on ur xbox then push get xbox are living then u scan connection and the entire lighting at the loading factor sould cross on however simply wait a couple of then positioned creat xbox are living acount P.S. input code P.S.S. wat u did mistaken the primary time is u pluged the opposite finish of the ethernet twine to the again of the laptop no longer the router or modem
