OK, I'm not sure, but keep in mind as you read the answers that Minneapolis / St. Paul are actually on the origin of the Mississippi. Neither probably merits "biggest city". But considering the two sister cities together as one metropolitan area, they may be the largest metropolitan population. Check that out.
