Sven'll probably start with Crouch and Owen
Walcott would be ideally suited to this game. As an avid Southampton fan i have watched him a lot and his pace could work where Ibrahimovic and Larsson failed.
It would be good to give Rooney perhaps a quarter of an hour to get him some time on the pitch after his injury b4 more important games.
Also Joe Cole and Gerrard can play off the strikers but i don't Sven should do this. What did we bring strikers for if we're going to playmidfieldersd behind a lone striker. We must play 442 tonight with two recognised strikers on the field.

perchance. dropping Rooney deeper will be reliable and Defoe and Bent will be a competent partnership. England's been playing a 4-4-2 for too lengthy, a replace is needed. 4-3-3 with Wilshere Parker and Gerrard in the midfield at the same time as he's in wonderful condition.
