Answer this question if its been in your teen years........ okay so have you ever dated someone older or way younger than you...if so what was your age and their age. I'm 14 dateing a 16 yr old. Two yrs, from what im told, is no big deal as long as he doesnt want some A$$...

like ive always said age is but a number in which everyone memorizes...ive dated older guys ever since i could remember the trick is never go farther than u want if he likes u enough he will get over it if he doesnt well his loss....2 years isnt alot ive dated a guy who was like 5 yeas older than me and it worked pretty well.....do what u think is right and dont do anything u dont want to.

I would focus less on his age, but ask yourself a couple of questions. Are you both at about the same maturity level? Are you going to be interested in going to the same school dances, events, etc? Is he going to be respectful of you and your life? I made the mistake of dating someone 16 when I was 14, and he was always reminding me that I was just that step behind. I got fed up with being made to feel like I was behind when I was actually perfectly fine FOR MY AGE NOT HIS. Don't let him hold you to unfair standards or pressure you to do things you're not ready to do, just because he is, like drinking or cruising around in cars on the weekends. Do you have enough in common with this boy? And most importantly, are you both at the same level of sexual activity? If he has been sexually active before, and you have not, he is going to pressure you. Once someone starts having sex, they are not likely to be happy going back to a relationship where they are not. If you have comfortable answers to all of these questions, go ahead and date him.

Yeah I dated guys that were a little older than me when I was a teenager. Just be careful with them cause many of them will do and say anything to get what they want. And guys can be very tricky
