Yes, he just has a never ending bank account to pay for the best treatments around. Plus, I think he has a really good outlook or attitude about it and that might help in lessening symptoms.

Magic Johnson shows no outward signs of being infected by HIV because he is considered a non-progressor. Many people who are non-progressors live with HIV without major health complications and their immune system seems to keep the virus under control. Progressors are people who have uncontrollably high virus load levels and advance to AIDS quickly, usually within five years after infection.

If indeed anyone has HIV, then it is with them until God calls them home. At present, as far as the scientists and doctors proclaim, there is no cure for HIV or AIDS. Other than that, a person is pretty much stuck with the disease. I do believe that God can cure anyone. I wish for all of us on this planet and any other planets (known or unknown), to be about the Lord and have faith in his healing power. Peace and God Bless.

It is possible to live with HIV for a long time. As many other people have already pointed out, there is no cure available at this time. So, yes, he still has HIV.

he paid for the cure... you know, the one the rest of the world cant get because the medical profession makes too much money off their condition to offer them a cure. Just like with diabetes and heart disease.

The medical field hasnt cured anything since small pox half a century ago, and up to that point they found a cure for something just about every year or so. So for me to believe that in over 50 years, with all this new technology all they can do is treat disease and not cure it? bullshit. Its a multi BILLION annual market... they're all making too much money to push a cure.

Like with bird flu... they went on and on and on about how there is no cure and theyre working day and night, and they could never make enough for the population. Right. Somewhere is a bunker full of vaccines for the government officials, so they can govern who ever survives on their own.

Its all about money!

God that was a long answer and totally irrelevant to the question... IVE TURNED INTO ONE OF THHOOOSSEE PEOPLE. AH!

In an inteview with NBC, just before the start of the NBA championship, Magic revealed he is still taking two pills a day to fight off the effects of HIV. He declared himself in better shape than most guys still playing in the NBA.

Good question. They say there is no cure but I read in Jett Magazine that he no longer test positive for HIV. Sounds to me like the cure is having enough money to pay for the right medicine. Sad but true

Because he was a womanizer....and slept with more women than he can probably count. Even with all the money in the world....you can only delay HIV AIDS progression since we have not found a cure quite yet.

yes, there is no way to get rid of HIV. at least not yet. there are medications today that can slow down the onset of AIDS. if i remember correctly, a few years ago he announced that his HIV got to a point where it was no longer detectable but i'm sure advances in technology can now detect it. hope this helps
