22 cubic ft freezer, almost new, stopped working. A red alarm light on the door is lit, but don't know what the problem is. Is there a reset switch?

Maybe try unplugging it for a few minutes. That should reset it. Also check to make sure nothing is blocking the condensor vent.

you say this unit is allmost knew,so as there are so many different models i sugest you get back to the place of purchase,as you dont want to be playing around with it yourself and risk making your warrenty void,after all thats what the warranty period is for

replace the timer on the unit.
