I luv my job, where it can go and what I can do with my experience once Ive learnt everything about it (just started). But my boss is bullying me, his boss and he are best mates so I cant go higher to complain and my colleague is forever stabbing me in the back. I end up coming home in tears most evenings. He's read details on my sickness report outloud to my office, humiliated me on many occasions and ignores me when we are in the office on our own and I need help. My colleague takes my work and puts her name on it, trys to get me to run round after her and generally takes the p*ss (my boss cant see through her). But the job Im doing is brilliant and I just need the experience from this job to use in what I want to do in the future. What would you do?

For one, I would contact the department of labor as this is definetely discrimination, creating a hostile work environment and many other violations. I would then give notice and get another job. You can get experience elsewhere without being tormented for it.

Keep going, just look for another job in the same field. Explain to your new employer how much you love the work that you do, but on the other hand you feel like your being bullied by your work collegues. Don't just apply for one job at a time, apply for loads even take a holiday day off to do it. Give references from other employers not your current one. Then when you get another job, don't even hand in your notice, pick out 1 thing from you workmates. I.E By the way the reason I'm leaving is because your smell of B. O. On you go...there are more things in life than work!

KEEP A DIARY OF EVENTS... If you are forced into a position where you want to resign, you can then sue for CONTSTRUCTIVE DISMISSAL (in the UK that is).
Go to the boss above your bosses boss, or even speak to Human Resources department and log a formal greivance.
I've been bullied at work and ended up walking away from a very good job , because at the time, I was stressed out in my personal life and couldn't find the strength to fight my corner.
Don't let them ruin your future. Do not put up with bullies, or the scabs that do their dirty work for them.

you have to make a complaint, you should not have to put up with all that crap. take it to his boss and tell him if it isn't looked into you will go over his head and complain about his conduct too. stand up for yourself and you may notice a difference on how you are treated at work. could you do the same job with a different company? maybe you can hand in your notice if it is unbearable there but definitely place a formal complaint. don't get angry get even! go girl!

I'm currently in a similar situation to yourself. The best way to deal with someone who is bullying you is to either confront them if you can in private or if not because its likely to make matters worse have a word with your HR department if you have one depending on the size of the company you work in. Either way its best to tell someone how has the authority to challenge them directly on your behalf. I would also suggest speaking to your bosses, boss. Although you have stated they are best mates you may get them on side once you explain the situation unless they are also bullying you too then take it to a HR Manager or make a formal written complaint to your SEO.

First, create a diary, date, time, place, event. Gather the evidence, let them think they are getting away with it, still waters run deep....you present the still waters look. At the same time, find yourself a better job, when you have that, dont even bother giving notice and go. leave a gap of a few days, before your new job. Then , sue the old co. for constructive dismissal.

Well, If I were you I would quit, but I'm not a career minded person. What is important to you? Can you put up with this for a few years and get the rewards in the end? Or can you quit and try you're luck somewhere else? I would strongly recommend leaving but it's up to you.

If you want a real hostile environment go to the labor people..
Is it really hurting you her writing her name on your work or is it hurting your ego??
If you need the experience you should just go about your business and do your job..
Welcome to the real world ,,when get good you'll go far..
If the bulling is mean spirited move on once you get what you need out of the job..

The boss's behaviour is unacceptable. If you decide to remain there, you must begin to document these events...date, time, cirucumstances and the impact they have had on you. Then you need to contact the labour board or get advice from a labour lawyer before proceeding further. Good luck.

I would hand in my notice. There is no reason to submit yourself to such tyrrany. But I would also report their practices to the proper authorities such as the dept. of labor, Home office of the company. You deserve better, and better is out there. Don't cast your pearls before swine. You work is worth more that throwing it away on people who don't appreciate excellence and motivated work ethic.
