I live in the United States . There is a great demand for Registered Nurses. Hospitals sometimes have to "farm out" to agencies for help. That is not a great alternative,from my experience, but sometimes is the only alternative. We need men and women who have been thoroughly educated. I've even seen where a person can receive monetary gratitude if they can recruit someone!! So many good nurses are promoted into admin. jobs. Good, I imagine for their career, but sad for the patients who need REAL nurses.
