I auditioned for modeling with John Casablancas modeling agency. I have a call back today; but people have said I could do well in modeling because I'm marketable.

Marketable means that they think they can get people to pay for your services as a model. You fit an appropriate marketing area.

It means you have the look people want to see in ads and photos. Most agencies take a small percentage from your pay when you get a job. That's ok. Don't pay the agency cash in advance, though. If they want that, take your "marketable" look elsewhere.

it means they can "pimp" you out ---- you have the look ,style ,personality, etc.etc. --- that appeals to the average person -so you can be whored out to the masses for their profit -- and yours if you are smart
