I would try freezing it with a cube of ice first to make it easier to scrape off. if that doesn't work, there is a can of freezing stuff that's made to get gum out of carpets, but I can't remember what it's called. they probably sell it at hardware stores or maybe even Wal-Mart.

attempt utilising peanut butter! it quite works quite nicely on tender gum. Use about an similar volume of peanut butter equivalent to the quantity of gum on your hair. consisting of your hands, rub down the gum spot and enable it damage down the peanut butter for type of 20 minutes, then use a great toothed comb to interrupt it up. Repeat the first step if necessary, practice dab of shampoo to that area and wash away the gum and peanut butter. Please do no longer use peanut butter once you've peanut hypersensitive reactions!

ice helps to harden the gum for easier removal ... if this doesn't work there is a product called "OOPS" that can be found in most retail stores such as wal-mart, target, etc... that will remove it.
