I would like to have two screen names that way if someone takes my real one then i have another to fall back on. and also if my friends see that i am not on my real one then they can check the other one.

Just sign up for a new one and download trillian which will let you messege from both at the same time

Go to Yahoo and create another screen name.

**If your name/username/screenname is stolen from you, you are the only one that has given it up.**
If you have Yahoo, just sign up for another one, or like the one peron said, get more profiles. If AOL Instant Messenger, Get another one.
"I had AOL Instant messenger one time try to get my password from me saying tht they needed it to do diagnostics or something and come to find he was a fraud, says in AOL EULA that AOL will never ask for your password."

in Yahoo.. create profiles... you can have upto 6 profiles and a main Id... I guess this might help you..
