The man I love I have know for a year we met on the internet and finally met after 3 months of talking everyday. Wow he was so passionate and loving and bought me everything. I know he loves me but then his job took him away (like 500 miles). Well I have a daughter and i couldn't leave her and I couldn't just up and move her away from her school and friends like that. Well 8 months passed and when she got out of school I was going. He then calls and says that I should stay here for her, that he gave me to many ultimatums (which he did ) and come to find out after dragging it out of him he had been with a co-worker. He said he had sex with her but he didn't make love to her. That she took his mind off me and he cared about her but didn't love her. The question is when I ask about her he will say if he has talked to her or something but if I ask more questions he will get so defensive and say well I am hanigng up I am not talking about her with you. Why does he do that?

Well sometimes us ladies fall in love with fake jewelry and
the lord is waiting for us to give-up the fake pearls to give us the real pearls. He made some one just for you.
Don't you think it is about time to have the real thing than chase the fake pearls?
Let this guy go. He is the fake pearls. It is hard. But you deserve the real thing.

In as few words as possible, and as tactfully as he can, he is telling you , it's over. I know that's hard to accept, but the fact is, IT IS! Move on in your life. There's a lot of nice guys that live fairly close to you, no doubt. Go out with one of them, and avoid this again in the future. Good Luck!!

I think it's out of respect for you both that he is not telling intimate details, at least you can infer that he wasn't discussing intimate details about you with her either. As far as being devastated, it happened because it was meant to, try to find the positive side and cling to that. And distract, distract, distract yourself. Good luck.

Because he feels guilty or he doesn't think he needs to explain hinself. my b/f of 4 years cheated on me and when i ask him about her he doesn't want to talk about it either and he says that they're still friends which bothers me a lot. my b/f thinks that i pushed him to do it so he feels that i'm in the wrong. so it might be either of the 2 reasons
