Its about time! They should be held in contempt for breaking the law, I want them all giving each other head in prison. They are not heroes, they are gay. George Washington just broke the law of another country and should be in jail right now. They are all dead but serves them right they needed to be sentenced to life in prison, anyway. Sacajewea is a pussy and assisted in treason. Lewis and Clark conspired against their own country, and Sacajewea was just an Indian she should not be on American currency for breaking an international law. This is bull ****.

Actually, all they wanted to be was English citizens, complete with the rights of English citizens. But they were denied this, and were treated as traitors and criminals. That is why they declared independence and fought the English government.
If the English king and parliament had given them the full rights and privileges of English citizens, America would have remained part of the British Empire. But the English thought they could treat the colonists like they treated the Irish - like slaves. Look where that got them.

The colonists left England because they were oppressed by the English rulers of the day. They wanted to worship their own God in their own way. Pretty sure God was probably in favor of that. Also, since they're all dead by now, just who do think is going to do this praying for forgiveness?
Also, I'm pretty sure they were considered criminals in England, but England's rulers had no jursidiction in the new country.

You must be American.
Only an American would be so careless as to not even use the "Check Spelling" feature. Of course, even that doesn't help when you know the difference between "secede" and "succeed".
"Decleration"? Talk about criminal. Your spelling is criminal.
Actually, the English should be glad we seceded. We are now strong allies and better off for going our separate ways.
P.S. We forgive you for burning down the original White House. We're still in the process of trying to forgive you for Benny Hill and other inane tv shows, but we certainly liked Monty Python. Dislike England? Certainly not. That would be complete..... bullhoggery.

Addendum: Kieran, I received your message, and was shocked at how harsh my comments above sounded. I am sorry for my ungracious remarks about your spelling. I unintentionally offended you and your friend, Justin. I am older, and should know better. Please accept my apology. I could not contact you directly because your address does not work in Yahoo; it says the address is unverified.

If we were to think that way, then there would be very few nations in the world. Most countries seceded from other countries to form their own governments. If they were to be considered criminals, what good would that do us now?
