I think both teams are great and have both worked very hard to get this far. I live in N.C. and naturally would like to see the Carolina Hurricanes win the Stanley Cup.
Lets not forget...."one does not have to be a Canadian or live in Canada in order to play Hockey or to win the Stanley Cup. The same goes for any sport.
The people in the South "do" know how to spell Hockey, and they know how to support a "winning" Team :)

I want the Edmonton Oilers to win the Stanley Cup. I think they should win, because its been years since they have had a chance in the finals.

Gotta be the Canes! Better team this year than the Oilers by a long shot - shame when the only person that the commentators discuss on the Oilers team is Pronger, there are other members that play just as hard and just as good. I'm not too impressed with the Oilers, but love the Canes tenacity and drive to win! Go Canes! You deserve it this go around!

Oilers. I want the Oilers to avenge the Montreal Canadian's defeat, since Carolina beat the Canadians because Justin Williams injured Koivu.

Without question the Edmonton Oilers! I don't have a particular dislike for the Hurricanes, but the Oilers are the underdogs, and as much as I don't like putting too much nationalism into sports, they are the Canadian team.

Its history of winning cups is great!
They are due for the cup!
The last one was in 93!

I would love to see the Pens win it for a third time in their franchise history, but they're not in it this year. So, I guess I will go w/ the Canes, at least they have the "Wrecking Ball" Mark Recchi a former Penguin.
