Saw it 2 1/2 times, loved it both times I saw it all the way through.

The first time I started to watch it, I had to leave at the scene where the dad is giving his 'magical cloak' to his little girl. I was watching it with some friends (who'd already seen it) and I said to one of them, "OK, so now something bad's going to happen to the dad because he doesn't have his magical cloak, right?" and my friend goes, "umm - not going to say..." So I left. I didn't think I could handle seeing the rest of the movie. Eventually, I got the courage to watch the whole thing, and really loved it. WHOA what a powerful part of the movie that was (the dad/daughter story line).

There still were some stereotypes that the movie perpetuated (like, who in the movie were the 'rescuers?' Who were always the 'victims'?). But it made me think -- which I like in a movie.

Worst movie ever. Brokeback Mountain was WAY better-it should have won. Gosh, I'd rather be locked in a room with Jack the Ripper than watch Crash again. It had no plot. It was boring.

It was okay, and it was definitely better than the overhyped Brokeback, but I don't think it was as great as people let on.
Maybe it is because I live where it is really like that, so I was not transported by the film in the way that a sheltered white kid in suburbia might have been.

One of the worst movies of all time! It was like a whole bunch of different scenes just thrown together and called a movie! Brokeback Mountain was much better!

I loved the movie. It seemed to me that the dialogue between the characters was things that people think and never really say out loud.

Great flick....

I thought it was an okay film, a bit cliched maybe but not bad.
Brokeback Mountain should have won the Oscar.

LOVED IT!

It really made me think about race relations & some of the sterotypes that I have, but did not realize I did.

Definetely got me thinking.
