At the first time I didnt understoon ur question and I thought that you're telling that astrology is B.S. and i wrote something harsh, sorry for that.
now, to predict for anyone an astrologer needs three details :
1) Full BirthDate (dd-mmm-yy)
2) Birth time
3) birth place(city, state, country / Longitude-Latitude of ur region)
As far as your moon sign goes, well, Moon is Deblited in Scorpio. So, scorpions think too much as they have two thoughts on every decision they take. Moreover, Moon is the Lord of Cancer. So, being deblited in Scorpio, it gives negetive result of that house which has cancer sign in ones horoscope. Ofcourse there are many rules regarding this.
