My husband and I have been eagerly trying to conceive a 2nd child for about a month now. I woke up this morning feeling very nauseated. Now I know that is very possible for your body to play tricks on you while you're trying to conceive and it will sometimes make you think you're pregnant when you're not. But, I was curious as to whether or not symptoms are felt earlier in 2nd pregnancies than in first?

Yes they are, because your body has done this already before and knows what to expect it is more efficient and symptoms are felt earlier.

Most definatley. The reason is with the first one you had no idea what it was you were feeling. With second and more you are attuned to what the baby feels like when it kicks. So it is considerable poassible that you feel signs of life earlier and earlier.

Now there is a draw back to this. According to my wife, it makes the pregnancies seemmmmm a lottt longer than 9 months.

Oh yea! not only that but when I saw that positive test result, a pregnancy bump came out of nowhere almost immediately! I went from a size 5 into maternity clothes in two weeks and didn't even gain a pound! You could definitely be pregnant again. Good luck!

I think that you do notice symptoms earlier in subsequent pregnancies because you know what to expect. I wish you luck!
