Yeah! These people are aTTACKers, aren't they...but helpful, too. Don't delete your question because I'ma watchin' it, girlfriend!
Well, I say if he has the NERVE to check you on YOUR DAILY WORK, then you can get that same nerve.
That is the trade-off, right. And he wouldn't want to switch with you. Tell him on a Saturday morning or a day off to track what the heck he does all day! Projects take longer than men think. I like to get everything done in the 1st two hours of of the morning hustlin. Then, no matter what I do it's just done and the happy husbands off
my friggin' back.
Tell him if you spent as much time cleaning up after HIM as you
did on the other household, necessary daily chores, he'd HAVE
the neat, sparkly perfect home he desired. He'll get mad, that's just that tender little species of fragility and gentleness called
THE MALE EGO.
To those people who are working do NOT assume SAHM is
a dream job. Its not for lazy bums. Not the hardest work,
but important and challenging, more than you'd think.

Depends why the house isn't clean. We have a special needs baby, so is the house clean all the time? Heck no! Does that mean my wife is lazy? No, she just has four and a half hours of exercises to do with the baby every day, meals to make, keeping track of the household bills, plus feedings and changings, makes for a full 8 hour day, THEN there's cleaning. Does it happen every day? Nope. I have a good job, but there could always be more money.

Well if you are a student I understand the pressures of balancing a family, school and maintaining the house just try to talk to eachother, being a mom is stressful enough I know I am one so it takes alot of work on both parties, I work, go to collegs have two kids and two step kids along with the cooking cleaning and laundry then to top that off I handle all the bills too so I feel you!

I am a stay at home mom and NO my house is not always clean,I am not a lazy person!!! we have other things to do too, keeping kids busy in the summer is more than a job. My husband says if the house aint clean, no worries. If he wants something done, he will get up and do it. That his job is nothing like mine. Oh I love him!!! =)

You can't complain about the income if you're not even bringing in any. obviously he makes enough to buy the house, the car, the groceries, etc. If it were vice-versa, how would you react if the house wasn't clean and food wasn't on the table when you came home after a long stressful day of work?

It is not right for the wife to do this at all. Just like we dont like it when our husbands yell and complain at or to us. Maybe he needs to get a better job or a second part time job. Or maybe you can do something to make money at home or get a part time job yourself. Try comporomising not complaining so much. You also might want to think about budgeting your money too and spending it more wisely. I hope things get better for you and your husband. Hugs to you!

Well if the mom is a stay at home mom then there should be no reason why the house isnt cleaned. I was a stay at home mom and my house was always cleaned.

well, if the wife is staying at home, the house is probably clean anyway unless their are kiddies running around. If he's griping, its best just to ignore it unless he just sits his booty in a chair and reads the paper and watches TV all night. That would be boring.
