The tallest players currently are Shawn Bradley and Yao Ming, both of whom are listed by NBA.com as 7-foot-6. The tallest players ever were Manute Bol and Georghe Muresan, both of whom were listed at 7-foot-7. There are taller players out there, but they do not currently play in the NBA, so they would not count. Your question is specifically worded for "NBA history."

For one, the expertise entering the NBA is susceptible. in the NFL, you're able to desire to get a seventh around draft %. and nonetheless get a rather solid participant. in the NBA, in case you do not have a properly suited 5 first around draft %., you're rather plenty S.O.L. There are some exceptions to the guideline. i think of there are additionally too many rattling communities. Do Cali and Texas easily choose all those basketball communities? Why the hell does Canada have a team in the NBA? Memphis? I say get rid of the lame duck communities and consolidate the expertise, you will get greater useful opposition from greater useful communities because of the fact the expertise should not be unfold so skinny. purely my 2 cents.
