No, but that is a smart idea. You never know what will come flying or in what direction. So, that is a very bright idea. I would change my answer to yes, you should wear goggles when hitting a pinata. :)

you already have a blindfold on so you mean add goggles on top of that,,,?,,,,i think the blindfold is good enough its the people standing around watching that's gotta duck !!

You should wear goggles, helmet, shoulder pads, gloves and safety shoes. This is dangerous work!

I wouldn't recommend it...I would wear blindfold & have the others stand back far enough as not to get hit.
