I wonder how some idiot can say, better thank your stars that George Bush stole the election from Al Gore. Then bring up 9/11 I wonder just how the f*** would they know. He stole the election the same way that he stole the election in 2004, it was fixed, funny voting machines in rich repuglican areas worked and there was plenty of them and in poor democratic area's there were machines that didn't work and not enough to go around, they even went so far in Florida as to block roads around precincts so that people could not get to the polls. What we got for this effort is the worst president in the history of the county. I am tired of people claiming that he won fair and square.

Would you please get over that!! He did not "steal" any election. He was elected, fair and square! Jeez! All I know is, you better thank your lucky stars that Al Gore did not win the 2000 election. He would have been President when 9/11 hit and I shutter to think what would have happened to this country with someone like Al Gore in charge. Thank God George Bush was our President.

Answerman - it takes an idiot to know an idiot!!

By legally getting more electoral votes than his opponent.

Though, that's hardly 'stealing' the election.

Now, what the Democrats were trying to do in Florida was attempted theft of the election, but luckily the US Supreme Court prevented the subversion of the Constitution and Florida law.

It was easy! His brother Jeb was the governor of Florida, so he wasn't about to let there be a recount of the votes. Also, the majority of the Supreme Court justices were Republican-appointed, so naturally, they ruled in favor of the Republican candidate. Also, if I remember correctly, both houses of Congress had a Republican majority at the time, so nobody was about to hold him accountable or challenge the Supreme Court's ruling.
