My husband ejaculated in me the day before my period started and the next day a few hours before it started. Could I still get pregnant?

Sperm does not last very long. If you are trying to conceive then you need to try about 10-14 days before you get your period. That's when the egg is in the right place. You can also use ovulation predictors. They are just like pregnancy tests and are just as easy to use.

You could get pregnant any time/any day of the month, so that you will have to consistently use protection in the event you do not wanna get pregnant. That said there are times when you are extra likely to conceive than others. You have to realise your mentrual cycle - this starts on the primary day of your period and continues as much as the first day of your next interval. You are most fertile at the time of ovulation, (when an egg is launched out of your ovaries) which in general occurs 10-sixteen days earlier than your subsequent interval begins. That is the time of the month when you find yourself obviously to get pregnant. Simply earlier than your period, for the duration of your interval and just after your period are the instances when you find yourself least fertile and as a result least likely to conceive however this doesn't imply it can not or is not going to occur: it's not inconceivable. If you are particularly involved about this go and get a being pregnant scan and put your mind to rest. And in future at all times use protection.

It depends on when you ovulate. Some people ovulate right before their period some right after but a large number more so in the middle of their cycle. if you did get pregnant then you wouldn't know until next month. you would still get this period. getting pregnant has to do with when you ovulate and not when your period begins. Best of Luck to you if you are trying!

It depends on where the egg was... but chances are, you won't be pregnant. Did you get your period the next day? Because, if you did, you're most likely not pregnant. But if you have sex while you're on your period, the sperm may be able to survive.
