Despite assertions from church teachings, the world will never be destroyed. Scriptures such as Psalm 37:29; 104:5; Ecclesiastes 1:4; Matthew 5:5 and others prove this. Churches misunderstand scriptures that in a figurativve language speak of the earth melting or being 'burned up' whereas this is referring to the wickedness, not the actual earth itself. God created the earth for the purpose of having it populated. He did not create just to destroy it later (Isaiah 45:18). God has promised that wickedness will be eliminated and the earth filled with righteous, loving people (Psalms 37:9-11, 28, 29; Proverbs 2:21, 22; 2 Peter 3:13)

well if you have read the bible he destroys evil in the past such as the story with lot and his wife you should read it some time. or Noah and the flood. he has destroyed many things in the past due to evil. but after acts he says that it is in the last days when god will not have anything that actually take an active role in the lives of humans until he comes again to destroy it only this time he will use fire rather than water.

Sin is the result of Man's desire to be his own god. We brought sin into the world, and the result is bad things sometimes happen. Remember also that God allowed Satan to tempt Jesus in the wilderness. He allowed Satan to test Job so Job could be even closer to God, and would be rewarded double when the trial was over. Sometimes when something you don't want to happen, happens, it is the Voice of the Holy Spirit telling you to try another path. Remember also that God refuses to impose on the free will he gave us....it is up to us to take that responsibility and use it to the best possible advantage. If God wanted to control all life on Earth, why did he give us free will?

God has given us the ability to choose our own path - and if the world is to be destroyed, that is our choice. All these evils in this world are of man, not of God, or Satan.

It's called FREE WILL - it's the people on this earth that are destroying it - not GOD. Just like any good parent HE has given us the opportunity to stand on our ouwn two feet and accept responibility for our actions.

He gave us all free will, he doesn't leave us. He works through us to help make the world a better place, unfortunately some people are either misguided or just plain evil.
