the location can only be traingulated when brodcasting between two cellphone towers.

the phone must be in use to do this.

Mine is never switched on unless i am making a call....Or checking for textual content messages. Arsenal football membership are the only people who send me commonplace textual content messages....For some motive, I subscribed to a service where they ship me messages at half of time and full time on healthy days...And each time a intention is scored in an Arsenal recreation.

Not sure, but someone should invent a GPS tracker for all mobile electronics like ipods and phones, so if they ever are missing, you could log onto to your computer and locate missing items.
