Yes, I think it's better if people live together for a while before they get married. When you start living together you discover some things about each other that you weren't aware of before, simple things in daily life that can prove to be a problem. Some people are just plain hard to live with even if you love them.

It's likely that both parties have some habits or something that annoys the other one, or major disagreements about how things should be in the home, who should do what and so on, so first they should try living together and seeing if they can live with each other and make comprimises before they decide whether they want to spend the rest of their lives together.

I say NO..
cause when you live together you know what the other does and does not like... I mean that is the whole point of getting married right... ?? For the change, the companionship, the beginning of a new life. If you two have been living together, you have already created change and there is no difference other than now you have rings and a piece of paper!

I believe that living together prior to marriage is both good and bad. It does allow you that time to get to really know that person but then people tend to put off marriage because they are basically living that way already. And if you wait then you may not have that exact idea but then people will tend to work harder at it if a problem does arise. So it really is choice but I guess to choose I would choose the living together prior to marriage just so if someone is totally not what they seem to be you may have enough time to get out without al the divorce hassle.

Personally, I think couples shouldnt live together before marriage. Like someone has already said, I think it takes away from the whole marriage experience.

According to the church: no, but on the other hand people don't stay married and don't take their vows as seriously as they used to so: yes. I've been living with my fiancé for 2 years and we're getting married in September, and I don't regret it. It gave us a chance to work through all our relationship rough spots.
My mom didn't live with her first husband before they got married and she says that he was totally different than when they dated, she went through 3 years of h*** and abuse.

No.. No Co-habitation... Disagree with people who say 'yes'. Trying out, Compatibility -- > all excuses!! Even if u feel he/she is suitable to stay with, nothing guarantees any changes in him in the future.
